ORDINANCE 2004-37
ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING LEASE OF WATER TOWER SPACE FOR
BROADBAND COMMUNICATIONS COVERAGE TO
PULASKI NETWORKS, LLC (PSKNET)
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski has determined it to be in the best
interest and general welfare of its citizens to provide broadband coverage for its citizens; and
NOW THEREFORE, be it ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia
that the Town Manager of the Town of Pulaski is authorized to enter into anon-exclusive lease
under the following terms and conditions with Pulaski Networks, LLC (PSKnet):
a} $100 per month, per water tower upon which broadband communications devices
are installed for Pulaski Networks, LLC (PSKnet) only; and
b) for a duration of one (1) year to be renewable for one (1) additional year upon the
same terms and conditions; and
c) said lease to terminate in the sole discretion of the Town of Pulaski acting through
its Town Manager based upon interference with fire, police, rescue or other air
wave signals used by or for the Town of Pulaski in any manner; and
d) such other terms and conditions as the Town Manager or his designee determines
to be in the best interest of the Town of Pulaski and its citizens.
This ordinance is adopted and is effective upon adoption this 7~' day of December, 2004 by
recorded vote as follows:
