ORDINANCE 2004-36
ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 99-05 UDAG LOAN
TO THE FRIENDS OF THE PULASHI THEATER, LTD.
WHEREAS, the Town of Pulaski by past action placed a lien on the former Southwest Times
Building in making a UDAG loan/gift to the Friends of the Pulaski Theatre, Ltd.; and
WHEREAS, The Friends of the Pulaski Theater, Ltd. are determined to advance the Theatre
progress by selling the former "Old Southwest Times Building"; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski has determined it to be consistent with
the general welfare of its citizens to release the aforesaid lien on the former Southwest Times
Building and to place a like lien on the Theatre Building; and
NOW THEREFORE, be it ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia
that Ordinance 99-OS is hereby amended and the existing lien on the former Southwest Times
Building be released by the Town of Pulaski on the condition that the Friends of the Pulaski
Theatre, Ltd. do execute documents creating a like lien on the Theatre Building located on Main
Street.
This ordinance is adopted and is effective upon adoption this 7th day of December, 2004 by
recorded vote as follows:
