ORDINANCE APPROVING A SITE PLAN FOR VOLVO LOGISTICS
WHEREAS, Pulaski County has submitted a site plan for the location of Volvo Logistics in the
former RENFRO facility on Bob White Boulevard in the Town's I-2 District; and
WHEREAS, Section 413.3 of the zoning regulations for the Town of Pulaski require a site plan
review by the Planning Commission and the Town Council for development in the I-2 District;
and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and Town Council conducted a site plan review on
October 12, 2004 and Ocher 19, 2004 respectively, with the Planning Commission
recommending approval of the plan as submitted,
NOW THEREFORE be it ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia
sitting in regular session this 2nd day of November 2004, that the site plan submitted by Pulaski
County for the location of Volvo Logistics in the former RENFRO facility, as shown in
Attachment A to this ordinance, attached hereto and expressly made a part hereof, is hereby
approved based on the findings of fact by the Town Council that the site plan is compatible with
surrounding uses, is consistent with both the Town's Comprehensive Plan and the zoning
regulations, is in the public interest, and is in compliance with other provisions of law. The site
plan hereby approved shall control the development of the site, until such time as an amended
plan shall be approved.
This ordinance is effective upon adoption and is adopted this 2nd day of November 2004 by
recorded vote of the Town Council as follows: `
