ORDINANCE 2004-29
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PARKING REQUIREMENTS
FOR HOME OCCUPATIONS
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia held a properly
advertised public hearing and considered the issue of amending §505.1 of the Zoning
Ordinance to provide for parking for a home occupation; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council has considered the best interests of the community and
its citizens and bases the following amendment to the Zoning Regulations and Zoning
Ordinance upon the public necessity, convenience, general welfare and good zoning
practices; and -~-
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia sitting in regular session that §505.1 of the Zoning Code of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia is hereby amended as §505.1-7 as follows:
Off-street parking for a home occupation or business is required and shall
be limited to existing driveways and garage areas and not in the front
yard. No trucks in excess than 12,500 pounds gross vehicle weight (GVW)
shall be parked on the premises.
This ordinance is effective upon adoption and is adopted this 7th day of September 2004
by duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski as follows:
