Ordinance 2004-27 Ordinance Authorizing the Purchase of Three (3) Parcels of Land from Randolph Avenue, L.L.C. and Lease of parcels to Nextel, Inc. _.4. ADOPTED: September 7, 2004 EFFECTNE: September 7, 2004 ~~ ~ TOWN OF PULASHI, VIRGINIA ORDINANCE 2004-27 ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF THREE (3) PARCELS OF LAND FROM RANDOLPH AVENUE, L.L.C. AND LEASE OF PARCELS TO NEXTEL, INC. WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia has considered and determined it to be m the best interests of its citizens and consistent with the general welfare of the public to acquire three (3) lots or parcels of land from Randolph Avenue, L.L.C.; and NOW, THEREFORE, be it ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia that the Town Manager is hereby authorized to expend up to six-thousand dollars ($6,000) for the three (3) lots presently owned by the Randolph Avenue, L.L.C. as reflected on the attached deed~nade a part hereof as if expressly set forth herein; and BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia that the attached lease of the property described in the aforesaid deed attached hereto is hereby adopted and the Town Manager is hereby authorized to execute same upon receipt of an appropriately executed deed to the property referred to herein, said property to be free of all liens and encumbrances as well as other defects of title that would affect marketable title. This ordinance is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this7th day of September, 2004 and is adopted by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, as follows: Bettye H. This conveyance is made subject to all reservations, restrictions, easements and agreements of record to the extent that they may lawfully apply to the properly hereby conveyed.
