ORDINANCE 2004-25
ORDINANCE ENTERING INTO CONTRACT WITH GREGORY GENERAL
CONTRACTING (SOLE PROPRIETORSHIP) AND GROUND VIBRATION
CONSULTANTS, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO THE PULASKI BUSINESS PARK IN
EXCHANGE FOR APPROXIMATELY TWENTY (20) ACRES
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia has considered the benefits
to accrue to its citizens and deems it compatible with the public interest and general welfare to enter
into an agreement with GGC and GVC, Inc. (Gregory General Contracting (Sole Proprietorship) and
Ground Vibration Consultants, Inc.) to construct buildings and utility improvements for the Pulaski
Business Park; and
NOW, THEREFORE, be it HEREBY ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of
Pulaski, Virginia sitting in regular session that a contract be developed between the Town of Pulaski
and GGC and GVC, Inc. containing the following terms and conditions:
The Town of Pulaski shall convey approximately twenty (20) acres within the Pulaski
Business Park to GGC and GVC, Inc. and in exchange GGC and GVC, Inc. shall make
capital improvements of $1,270,000.00 and their equivalents in labor, equipment, and
expertise.of approximately $652,000.00 in improvements to lay water, sewer, and electrical
conduit all within the Pulaski Business Park. In addition GGC and GVC, Inc. will construct
a road within the Pulaski Business Park approximately rune-hundred (900) feet in length and
be composed of such materials as specified by the Town Manager in a contract to be
satisfactory to the Town Manager and Town Attorney. Materials for the water, sewer, and
electrical conduit shall be provided by the Town as specified in the agreement between the
Town of Pulaski and GGC and GVC, Inc..
This ordinance is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 3rd day of August,
2004, by recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, as follows:
