ORDINANCE 2004-20
REHABILITATION OF AND OPERATION OF THE
FORMER PULASKI THEATRE
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski has considered the general welfare
of its citizens as well as the benefits to accrue to the Town and surrounding New River Valley
from the successful rehabilitation of and operation of the former Pulaski Theatre; and
WHEREAS, the Friends Of The Pulaski Theatre, Ltd., are engaged in the process of
renovations of the former Pulaski Theatre and incident thereto have negotiated a sale of the
former "Southwest Times" building upon which the Town holds a Deed of Trust pursuant to
Ordinance 99-5; and
NOW, THEREFORE be it ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia that the Deed of Trust held by the Town of Pulaski upon the former "Southwest Tirnes
Building" be released for the aforesaid purposes and said Deed of Trust shall be recorded against
the former "Pulaski Theatre Building" upon the same terms and conditions.
This ordinance is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 6th day of July, 2404
and is adopted by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, as follows:
