AMENDMENT OF §506.7 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia has considered
the issue of amending §506.7 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit signs for public or
governmental buildings to include public schools; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council has considered the best interests of the commututy
and its citizens and bases its decision upon the general welfare, public necessity,
convenience and good zoning practices; and
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of
Pulaski, Virginia that §506.7 of the Zoning Ordinance is hereby amended to add as
follows: (c) Signs in excess of 50 square feet but not exceeding 100 square feet for
public or governmental buildings to include public schools. Appropriate adjustments
shall be made to Table 2, "Signs Allowed with Permit by Zoning District and Maximum
Size (square feet)", of the Regulations.
This ordinance is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 11 `f' day of
May, 2004 and is adopted by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of
Pulaski, as follows:
