ORDINANCE 200406
AN ORDINANCE CLOSING A PORTION OF HICKORY STREET
WHEREAS the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, following a properly
advertised public hearing determined that it was in the best interest of and consistent with the
public health, safety and general welfare to close and/or vacate Hickory Street as shown on the
attached map; and
NOW THEREFORE, be it ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski
sitting in regular session that Hickory Street as shown on the map attached hereto and expressly
made a part hereof as if set forth herein shall be closed and/or vacated and that a certified copy of
the Ordinance vacating Hickory Street as shown on the map attached hereto be recorded in the
office of the Circuit Court Clerk by the adjacent landowners and upon such recording the closing
of said portion shall be effective from that date and time forward. The applicant shall,pay the
cost of publishing the notice in accordance with § 15.2-2006 of the 1950 Code of Virgnia, as
amended.
This ordinance is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 6"' day of April,
2004 and is adopted by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, as
follows:
