ORDINANCE 2004-02
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE ALLOWING
HORSES AND PONIES IN Rl AS A SPECIAL EXCEPTION
WHEREAS the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski held a properly advertised public
hearing and considered the best zoning practices and determined that Zoning Ordinance Section
402.3 should be amended as a special exception; and
NOW, THEREFORE, it is ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia, sitting in regulaz session that Section 402.3 of the Zoning Code of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia is hereby amended as Section 402.3-9 as follows:
Stable, private, or keeping of horses and ponies for personal enjoyment and not as a business,
provided that any building for keeping of animals shall be located at least 100 feet from any
side and reaz lot line and provided that there be a m;n;mum azea of two (2) acres for one (1)
animal and one (1) additional acre per additional animals with said acreage to be fenced.
This ordinance is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 6th day of January,
2004 and is adopted by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, as
follows:
