HomeMy WebLinkAbout2003-19Ordinance 2003-19 Ordinance Regarding Sale of "Edmonds Property" ADOPTED: October 7, 2003 EFFECTIVE: October 7, 2003 .,~,- ,~ i TOWN OF PULASKI, VIRGINIA ORDINANCE 2003-19 ORDINANCE REGARDING SALE OF "EDMONDS PROPERTY" WHEREAS, the Town of Pulaski, Virginia has determined that it is in the best interest and general welfare of the citizens of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia to request proposals for the sale of the "Edmonds Building"; and WHEREAS, a proposal has been received from For His Glory Enterprises, Inc. in the amount of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00). NOW, THEREFORE be it HEREBY ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, that the property known as the "Edmonds Building" (deed attached hereto and expressly made a part hereof as if set forth herein) shall be transferred to For His Glory Enterprises, Inc. This ordinance is effective upon adoption and is adopted by recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia this 7th day of October, 2003 as follows: Bettye H. Steger -Aye John T. EDMONDS, hereinafter called GRANTOR, party of the first part, and THE TOWN OF PULASKI, VIRGINIA, a municipal corporation, hereinafter called GRANTEE, party of the second part. Rooker et ux, by deed dated the 27th day of September 1977 and recorded In the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of Pulaski, Virginia in Deed Boo1~ 324, pegs 125 TO HAVE AND TO HOLD said lots or parcels of land together with the easements and appurtenances thereunto belonging, unto the GRANTEE, its successors and assigns.
