ORDINANCE 2003-19
ORDINANCE REGARDING SALE OF "EDMONDS PROPERTY"
WHEREAS, the Town of Pulaski, Virginia has determined that it is in the best
interest and general welfare of the citizens of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia to request
proposals for the sale of the "Edmonds Building"; and
WHEREAS, a proposal has been received from For His Glory Enterprises, Inc. in
the amount of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00).
NOW, THEREFORE be it HEREBY ORDAINED by the Town Council of the
Town of Pulaski, Virginia, that the property known as the "Edmonds Building" (deed
attached hereto and expressly made a part hereof as if set forth herein) shall be transferred
to For His Glory Enterprises, Inc.
This ordinance is effective upon adoption and is adopted by recorded vote of the
Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia this 7th day of October, 2003 as follows:

TH1S DEED made and entered into this =day of December, 1997,
by and between DAVID E. EDMONDS, hereinafter called GRANTOR, party
of the first part, and THE TOWN OF PULASKI, VIRGINIA, a municipal
corporation, hereinafter called GRANTEE, party of the second part.
WITNESSETH:
THAT FOR and in consideration of the sum of TWENTY FNE
THOUSAND DOLLARS ($25,000.00) cash in hand paid the GRANTOR by
the GRANTEE, and other good and valuable consideration, including the
donation of thirty five thousand dollars ($35,000.00) in equity interest, the
receipt of all of which is hereby acknowledged, the GRANTOR does hereby
grant, bargain, sell and convey with Modem English Covenants and General
Warranty of Title unto the GRANTEE, ail those two certain iota or parcels of
land located on the South side of Third Street, Northwest, in the Town of
Pulaski, County of Pulaski and State of Virginia, said lots being collectively
bounded=and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a~ point in the South line of Third
Street, Northwest, which said point is located
North 88° 0' West 150 feet from the intersection
of the West line of Washington Avenue with the
South line of Third Street, Northwest; thence
leaving Third Street, Northwest, and running with
the West line of an alley, South 2° 00' East
one hundred and sixty-five (165) feet to a stake;
thence leaving said alley North 88.00' west
forty-five (45) feet to a stake, North 2° 00'
West seventy -six (76) feet and six (8) in~es to
a stake; thencs~ South 88° 00+ East nine (9) feet
and six (6) inches to a stake; thence North 2°
00' West eighty-eight (88) feet and six (6) inches
to a stake in the South line of Third Street, No-th-
west; thence along the South line of Third Street,
Northwest, South 88° 00' East thirty-five (35) feet
and six (6) inches to the BEGINNING, and being ail
of Lot Fifty-flue (55) and part of Lot Fifty-three
(53) in Section Twenty-two (22) on the Official Map
of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia;

and being all those certain lots or parcels of land conveyed to GRANTOR by
Daniel J. Rooker et ux, by deed dated the 27th day of September 1977
and recorded In the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of Pulaski, Virginia in
Deed Boo1~ 324, pegs 125
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD said lots or parcels of land together
with the easements and appurtenances thereunto belonging, unto the
GRANTEE, its successors and assigns.
WITNESS the fallowing signature and seal the day and year first
above written.
