Change In Location of Polling Places for the Town of Pulaski, Virginia
BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, does
hereby approve the change in location of the polling place(s) for the town of Pulaski,
Virginia, from the Town of Pulaski Fire Department to the County of Pulaski's Central
Gymnasium, 143 Third Street, N.W., in the town of Pulaski, Virginia.
Since the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, is a part of the county of Pulaski, Virginia,
and located wholly within the County of Pulaski, Virginia, such polling place(s) are co-
located with and within County election district precincts, to-wit:
Draper election District-South Pulaski Precinct
Massie Election District -Massie Precinct

Robinson Election District -Robinson Precinct

• RESOLUTION NO. 98-5
Resolution Asking the Assistance of Commonwealth of Virginia Senator Malfourd "Bo"
Trumbo and Delegate Thomas G. Baker, Jr. in Seeking Support and Funding for the
Pulaski Railway Station Museum Annex.
WHEREAS, the town of Pulaski continues to revitalize its historic downtown in cooperation
with the National and Virginia Main Street programs; and
WHEREAS, the community has successfully restored the Historic Pulaski County Courthouse
in 1992 and the Pulaski Railway Station in 1994; and
WHEREAS, the Railway Station currently serves as the Town museum, home of the Pulaski
County Chamber of Commerce, a visitor's center and includes a neighborhood playground; and
WHEREAS, the New River Trail State Park is scheduled to be extended to the Pulaski Railway
Station in 1998; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Pulaski has already developed a master plan for the museum annex
through the efforts of the Virginia Tech Community Design Assistance Center.
• NOW THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia, sitting in regular session on February 17, 1998, that council asks the assistance of
Commonwealth of Virginia Senator Malfourd "Bo" Trumbo, and Delegate Thomas G. Baker, Jr.
in seeking support and funding for the Pulaski Railway Station Museum Annex.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is adopted by recorded vote of the Town Council
of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, sitting in regular session, on this 17th day of February, 1998 as
follows:
