RESOLUTION # 99-32
HONORING VOLUNTEERS
FOR "HISTORIC CALFEE PARK" RENOVATIONS
WHEREAS, Citizens of both the Town and the County of Pulaski have given freely of
their valuable time in their efforts to complete the renovations of the Town's Historic
Calfee Park; and,
WHEREAS, These volunteers have contributed countless hours of manual labor, as well
as skilled labor and generously donated materials to make Calfee Park "a special place"
in the hearts and memories of so many families and friends in our community; and,
WHEREAS, Without the unselfish giving of their time, resources and energy, the
renovations at Calfee Park would have been a much greater burden on the Town to have
completed in a timely manner; and,

WHEREAS, These volunteers have saved the Town of Pulaski thousands of dollars in
labor as well as donated materials.
NOW THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia, sitting in regular session on July 20, 1999, that Town Council hereby expresses
its sincere appreciation to these volunteers for their time, talent, heart and hard work so
freely given to help make Calfee Park a place in which the Town and region takes pride.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is ado~ted by recorded vote of the Town
Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, on this 20 day of July, 1999 as follows:
