RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO '
ARMISTEAD BOOKER, STUDENT INTERN
WHEREAS, Armistead Booker has faithfully served the Town of Pulaski as Student
Intern for the past two years while on summer break; and,
WHEREAS, among his achievements while serving as Intern to the Town of Pulaski are:
the completion of a two-year study of municipal salaries, surveying all vacant
commercial properties, updating the Town of Pulaski zoning map with previously
mentioned vacant commercial properties, converting the Town code book into digital
format for the recodification process, updating job descriptions for all departments,
designing of a baseball season highway billboard and implementing an Intranet website,
"Office-Net" with an electronic bulletin board of current Town memos and
announcements which would encourage a "Paperless Office;" and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Booker is returning to William and Mary to further his education and
• career, The Town Council and Staff wishes to commend Mr. Booker for a job well done
and for his perseverance and dedication in his work for the Town of Pulaski.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia, sitting in regular session on September 7, 1999, that Town Council and Staff
does hereby express its sincere appreciation to Mr. Booker for his loyal public service
contribution to the Town.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is adopted by recorded vote of the Town
Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, on the 7~' day of September, 1999 as follows:

In consideration of his long service and dedication to the Town of Pulaski, NOW be it
hereby RESOLVED that the Town of Pulaski, by its council and mayor, wishes to publicly thank
Thomas M. Combiths for his faithful service and dedication.
