Regarding Extension of Agreement with Pulaski Baseball, Inc.
WHEREAS, the Town of Pulaski has entered into an agreement with Pulaski Baseball, Inc.
effective February 19, 1998 for the use of Calfee Park; and
WHEREAS, Pulaski Baseball, Inc. has obtained an initial one-year extension of its agreement
with the Texas Rangers and fully expects to enter into a longer range agreement; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Pulaski desires to amend the existing agreement to extend the term to
include the 2002 Appalachian League Season; and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions shall remain in full force and effect but with the
addition of the following provisions:
a. Should Pulaski Baseball, Inc. expand its operations to include off-season events or
catering, a further amendment of this agreement shall be made to provide compensation
to the Town of a portion of non-tax revenue for the use of facilities, utilities, and
equipment;
b. The Town will receive an accounting of ticket sales and advertising income not less than
monthly after the start of the baseball season or more frequently if mutually convenient;
further that the Town shall have right to examine operational accounts or to audit records
• upon reasonable notice to Pulaski Baseball, Inc., reasonable notice to be deemed 48
hours.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by Town Council that the agreement be so amended
effective upon the agreement of Pulaski Baseball, Inc.
This Resolution is effective upon adoption and is adopted by recorded vote of the Town Council
of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia on this 2"d day of October, 2001 as follows:
