RESOLUTION
HONORING COMMUNITY YARD SALE
WHEREAS the Community Yard Sale, held April 11-13, raised a total of over
$4,700, which was divided equally among the Emergency Needs Task Force,
Habitat for Humanity and the Pulaski County Free Clinic; and
WHEREAS, under the coordination of Anna and Tom Powers, the event
exceeded its goal by $3,000; and
WHEREAS, the coordinators of the Community Yard Sale received support
from the community, area churches, organizations and volunteers.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of
Pulaski, Virginia, sitting in regular session on May 7, 1991, that the
Town Council should and hereby commends the efforts of the Powers' and
all the Community Yard Sale's volunteers which benefited the Emergency
.Needs Task Force, Habitat for Humanity and Pulaski County Free Clinic.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is adopted by recorded
vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, on this 7th
day of May, 1991 as follows:
