HONORING TAE 1992 PIILASKI BRAVES
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Town Council are honored to welcome to our
Town the 1992 version of the Pulaski Braves, including their
coaches and staff; and,
WHEREAS, the Braves offer quality professional baseball to the
residents of Pulaski and the entire New River Valley; and,
WHEREAS, the Braves' organization and the local ownership are
dedicated to championship entertainment, good sportsmanship," and
fair play; and,
WHEREAS, we are proud to have the Braves as part of our community
and we hope that they will feel "at home" during their stay; and,
WHEREAS, we urge all of our residents to support Pulaski's team,
the 1992 Pulaski Braves; and,
WHEREAS, we wish the Braves another championship season in the
Appalachian League.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of
Pulaski, Virginia, sitting in regular session on June 16, 1992,
that the Month of June, 1992 be proclaimed as "Pulaski Braves
Month" in the Town of Pulaski and that all of the Braves'
players, coaches, staff, and owners be declared as Honorary
Citizens of the Town of Pulaski.
THIS RESOLUTION is adopted this 16th day of June, 1992 by
recorded vote of the Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, as
follows:
