RESOLUTION 92-21
BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to public hearings, the Town of Pulaski
wishes to apply for $160,000 of Virginia Community Development Block
Grant funds for the Critzer Sewage Pump Station Replacement.
WHEREAS, the Critzer Sewage Pump Station serves Renfro's Newbern Road
Plant, Long-Airdox, APCO, Critzer School and residential areas; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Pulaski agrees to fund approximately $5,000 as the
Town's contribution to the project cost. The Town's funding share
includes engineering and inspection fees provided on an in-kind basis by
the Engineering Department; and
WHEREAS, it is projected that 100 Low and moderate income (LMI} persons
will benefit from the project through increased employment at Renfro
Incorporated; and
~E IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town Manager is hereby authorized to sign
nd submit the appropriate documents for submittal of this Virginia
Community Development Block Grant Application.
THIS RESOLUTION is adopted this 15th day of September, 1992 by recorded
vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia as follows:
