RESOLUTION 93-5
HONORING HARRY E. KANODE
WHEREAS, Harry E. Kanode, an employee of the Town for 19 years,
has retired effective May 1, 1993; and
WHEREAS, Harry E. Kanode served as an Equipment Maintenance
Technician at the Water Filtration Plant since 1974; and
WHEREAS, Harry E. Kanode completed maintenance work on all of
the machinery at the plant, maintained the Town's ten finished water
pump stations, repaired and serviced the four M.G.D. rain water pump
stations, maintained and repaired altitude control valves and
telemetry for all Town water tanks, provided maintenance for
mechanical equipment of the Town Municipal Building and other Town
facilities, including the Armory building, with many repairs being
made under extreme weather conditions and at any point in the day or
night, and performed, on request, electrical work for any of the
departments at the Town, until his retirement.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town
of Pulaski, Virginia, sitting in regular session on May 4, 1993,
• that the Town Council should and hereby does commend Harry E. Kanode
for his contributions and dedicat ion during his 19 years of
employment and wishes him all the best in his retirement.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is adopted by
recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia, on this 4th day of May, 1993 as follows:
