RESOLUTION N0. 94-9 ;
For Application
for a Community Development Planning Grant
to Assess the Viability of
A Community Services Facility
in the Town of Fulaski
WHEREAS the Town of Pulaski sees the value of providing human and
social services to its citizens and citizens in the region and;
WHEREAS the New River Valley Habitat for Humanity organization
currently owns a facility in the Town that could prove suitable for
housing public and non-profit human services organizations and;

WHEREAS the Pulaski United Way has indicated that many
organizations are in need of such a facility and that a centralized
~ervice location would greatly enhance the ability of human service
roviders to meet the needs of local citizens;
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the Fulaski Town Council authorizes
the Town Manager to submit a Planning Grant application to the
Department of Housing and Community Development to investigate the
overall need for a Community Services Facility and the viability of
using the above mentioned structure as the location for that facility.
This Resolution is effective upon adoption and is adopted by the
recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, on
this 5th day of April, 1994 as follows:
