RESOLUTION - 96-22
HONORING
ROY H. D'ARDENNE, JR
WHEREAS, Roy H. D'Ardenne, Jr. has been a.member of Town Council since July 1, 1992; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. D'Ardenne has served on the Finance Committee, Ordinance Committee and as
Chairman of the Human Resources Committee, as well as the Joint Government Electronic Village
Steering Committee, Town Planning Commission, tjie New Century Council Leadership
Committee, the New River Valley Planning District Commission and the New River Valley
Economic Development Corporation; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. D'Ardenne has striven to assist the Town in upgrading and updating all facets
of Town govemmerrt including reorganizing the Town Personnel Policy; and,
WHEREAS, During his service, Mr. D'Ardenne has dealt capably with numerous complex issues
and projects affecting past, preserrt and future Townresidents; and,
WHEREAS, As a member of Council, Mr. D'Ardenne served all citizens of the Town with

NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Town Council. of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia,
sitting in regular session on July 2 1996,-that the Town Council should and hereby recognizes the
significant and lasting contributions ofaMr. D'.Ardenne tothe citizens;of the~~ of Pulaski and
commends him for his dedication. and years of service. ~ - -
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is adopted by recorded vote of the Town Council of
