RESOLUTION NO. 97-13
INDUSTRY APPRECIATION WEEK IN VIRGINIA
WHEREAS, the Town of Pulaski is fortunate to have a strong base of business and
industry to support the area's economy;
WHEREAS, these industries provide much needed jobs for the citizens of the Town of
Pulaski; and
WHEREAS, these same industries provide local taxes from which the entire local citizenry
benefit; and
WHEREAS, these industries also make significant contributions to the Town of Pulaski in
many ways which enhance the area's quality of life; and
WHEREAS, we recognize and appreciate these important facts;
• NOW, THEREFORE, we the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski hereby salute our
existing industries, and by virtue of this resolution give notice to our citizens that we take Pride in
the Excellence for which Virginia businesses are know;
AND, Further, that the Week of May 18-24, 1997, is Industry Appreciation Week in the
Town of Pulaski.
This Resolution is effective upon adoption and is adopted this 6th day of May, 1997, by
recorded vote of the Pulaski Town Council as follows:
