RESOLUTION # 97-26
HONORING
COLUMBIA PULASHI COMMUNITY HOSPITAL'S
ACCREDITATION WITH COMMENDATION
FROM THE JOINT COMMISSION OF HEALTHCARE ORGANIZATIONS
WHEREAS, Columbia Pulaski Community Hospital has received the highest accreditation rating
possible from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations; and,
WHEREAS, Only 1 percent of hospitals throughout the nation received a perfect score on its
latest accreditation survey along with the Accreditation with Commendation honor, as Columbia
Pulaski Community Hospital did; and,
WHEREAS, Columbia Pulaski Hospital's 100 percent compliance with the Joint Commission's
nationally recognized health care standards is proof of the hospital's organization wide
commitment to providing the highest quality, most compassionate care for it patients.
NOW THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia,
• sitting in regular session on October 7, 1997, that the Town Council congratulates Columbia
Pulaski Community Hospital on receiving a perfect score on its latest accreditation survey along
with the Accreditation with Commendation honor.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is adopted by recorded vote of the Town Council of
the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, on this 7th day of October, 1997 as follows:
