ORDINANCE REPEALING SPECIAL EXCEPTIONS
FOR ELECTRONIC CHANGEABLE COPY SIGNS
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia has considered the best
interests of the public and determined that it is consistent with the general welfare of the
citizens to repeal Section 506.7 (a) and Section 506.9-7 (b) of the zoning regulations
which require a special exception for electronic changeable copy signs; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia has considered the best
interests of the community and its citizens and bases the following amendments to the
Zoning Regulations and Zoning Ordinance upon the public necessity, convenience,
general welfare and good zoning practices; and
NOW, THEREFORE be it ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia sitting in regular session this 7"' day of March, 2006 that Section 506.7 (a) and
Section 506.9-7 (b,) which require a special exception for electronic changeable copy
signs, are hereby repealed.
• This ordinance is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 7~' day of March,
2006 by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia as
follows:
