HomeMy WebLinkAbout2006-33 Ordinance 2006-33 Ordinance Approving A Site Plan and Proffer for Walgreen • Adopted: December 5, 2006 Effective: December 5, 2006 • ORDINANCE 2006-33 • ORDINANCE APPROVING A SITE PLAN AND PROFFER FOR WALGREEN WHEREAS, Mid-Atlantic Commercial Properties submitted a site plan for the locating of a Walgreen's store at the corner of Memorial Drive and Route 11 which is zoned B-1 Local Business District; and, WHEREAS, Mid-Atlantic Commercial Properties proffered to the Town of Pulaski that a thirty-six (36) inch high vegetative barrier will be installed at the curb level on the east side of the proposed structure facing Camper Street which shall be composed of the densiformis spreading yew or other similar evergreen species of the same or greater density, said proffer attached hereto and expressly made part of this ordinance; and, WHEREAS, both the Planning Commission and Town Council conducted a joint public hearing for the review of the site plan on November 7, 2006, with the Planning Commission recommending approval of the site plan and proffer; NOW, THEREFORE be it ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia sitting in regular session this 5t" day of December 2006, that the site plan as submitted November 7, 2006, which included an amended storm water management facility for the site, and the attached proffer are hereby approved. • This ordinance is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 5t" day of December 2006 by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia as follows: Jeffrey S.
