Home My WebLink About94-25• Ordinance No. 94-25 - AMENDING THE POSITION CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION PLAN FOR THE TOWN OF PULASKI, VIRGINIA (Police Dept.) • AD©PTED: August 16, 1994 EFFECTIVE: August 16, 1994 n LJ 268 U ORDINANCE NO 94-25 AMENDING THE POSITION CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION PLAN FOR THE TOWN OF PULASKI, VIRGINIA BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, sitting in Regular Session on August 16, 1994, that: Pursuant to Chapter 2 of the Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual for the Town of Pulaski, Attachment A, Schematic List of Classes and Assignment to Pay Ranges, be, and hereby is, amended to: (1) Delete the Class Titles of "Police Captain" and "Police Lieutenant" and add the Class Title of Police Commander, under Public Safety with Pay Range 50 for the Town`s Classification and Compensation Plan: (2) Amend the Class Title of "Corporal" to Police Officer First Class; except those now in the Class Title of • "Corporal" will remain until said position is vacated. The pay range remains 42. (3) Delete the Class Title of Detective; this position to be filled by either Police Officer or Police Officer First Class as appropriate with no change in the pay range. This ordinance shall be effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 16th day of August, 1994, by the recorded vote of the Town Council as follows: John A. Johnston -Aye Roy H.
