ORDINANCE PERMITTING A COMMUNITY ROOM
AS CONDITIONAL USE
AT 12 WEST MAIN STREET
WHEREAS, The Elks Club, has requested permission for a community
room, located at 12 West Main Street (Tax riap No. 072-51-Block 22-19,
21, 23, 25 and 27) of the Town of Pulaski, Pulaski County, Virginia;
and,
WHEREAS, the subject location is zoned B-3 (Central Business
District) and a community room requires a conditional use permit;
and,
WHEREAS, after advertisement as required by law, the Planning
Commission held a public hearing on April 12, 1993 and recommended
approval of the conditional use; and,
WHEREAS, after advertisement as required by law, a public hearing was
held by the Town Cot:ncil of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, on April
20, 1993, wherein the plans of the applicant and the concerns of the
neighbors were addressed;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of
Pulaski, Virginia, sitting in regular session on April 20, 1993,
that the application of The Elks Club to establish a community room
at 12 West Main Street (Tax Map No. 072-51-Block 22-19, 21, 23, 25
and 27) as set forth in the application submitted to the Town, is
hereby approved as a conditional use, without conditions other than
those imposed by the B-3 Zone and any other applicable laws and
regulations.
This ordinance is effective upon adoption and is adopted by recorded
vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia on this
20th day of April, 1993, as follows:
