TOWN OF PULASKI, VIRGINIA
Ordinance Rezoning 6.6 Acres of Land, Known
as Tax I.D. #063-025-0000-028, Along Route 11 Near
the Southern Intersection with Pleasant Hill Drive
WHEREAS, after notice as required by law, the Town Council and the
Town Planning Commission held a public hearing on April 16, 1991 on the
possible rezoning of certain acreage owned by Mrs. Evelyn Hall English
along Route 11 (Lee Highway) near the southern intersection with
Pleasant Hill Drive; and,
WHEREAS, following the public hearing, the Planning Commission
formally recommended to the Town Council that the parcel of land
referred to as Tax T.A. #063-025-0000-028, containing 6.6 acres of land,
be rezoned from R-2, Residential to R-R, Rural Residential, and,
WHEREAS, in conjunction with the recommended rezoning, the Planning
Commission also requested that a no U-turn sign be erected on Route 11
at Memorial Drive for traffic traveling north on Route 11, and,
WHEREAS, after due consideration of the information before it as
• evaluated by appropriate zoning standards, the Town Council finds that
the rezoning classification recommended by the Planning Commission is
reasonable and suitable for the property in question.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the COUNCIL of the TOWN OF
PULASKI, VIRGINIA, sitting in regular session on May 7, 1991, that:
Section 1. The property listed as Tax I.D. #063-025-0000-028
containing 6.6 acres of land along Route 11 near the southern
intersection with Pleasant Hill Drive, be, and the same hereby is,
rezoned from R-2, Residential to R-R, Rural Residential.
Section 2. The Town Zoning Administrator is directed to mark this
change and the effective date on the Master Zoning Map for the Town of
Pulaski and said map is hereby amended to incorporate this change.
Section 3. This ordinance is effective upon adoption and is
adopted by recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia, on this 7th day of May, 1991, as follows:

hereby certify that the foregoing, Ordinance rezoning 6.6 acres of land
known as Tax I.D. #063-025-0000-028, along Rt. 11 near the Southern
Intersection with Pleasant Hill Drive is a true and correct copy as
adopted by the Pulaski Town Council at their regular meeting on May 7,
1991.
