Ordinance Rezoning Certain Properties Along Route it (Alum Spring Road to
approximately 650 feet east of Oakhurst Avenue)
WHEREAS, after notice as required by law, the Town Council and the Town
Planning Commission held joint public hearings on August 20, 1991 and
September 17, 1991 on the proposed rezoning of Route 11 (Alum Spring Road
to a point approximately 650 feet east of Oakhurst Avenue) and the Farmer
estate (north of Route 11); and
WHEREAS, following the public hearing, at its meeting of October 9, 1991,
the Planning Commission formally recommended to the Town Council that the
proposed rezoning, from R-2 (Residential) to B-2 (General Business), be
limited to the NRO Station (Lot Nos. 072-103-0000-82,83,84,85,86A,87,88
and 89) and the Pulaski Medical Services' property (Lot Nos. 072-140-
000-47 and 072-103-0000-138) to a depth of 300 feet from Route 11; and
WHEREAS, after due consideration of the information before it as
evaluated by appropriate zoning standards, the Town Council finds the
following reasonable and suitable for the properties in question: 1) the
Planning Commission's recommendation that the NRO Station (Lot Nos. 072-
103-0000-82,83,84,85,86A,87,88 and 89 and the Pulaski Medical Services'
Property (Lot Nos. 072-140-0000-037,037A and 072-103-0000-040,041, to a
depth of 300 feet from Route 11, be rezoned from R-2 (Residential) to B-2
(Business); 2} Lot Nos. 072-140-0000-037,037A and 072-103-0000-040,041
be rezoned from R-2 (Residential) to B-1 (Business); and 3) Lot No. 063-
025-0000-029 be rezoned from R-2 (Residential) to R-0 (Residential-
Office).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the COUNCIL of the TOWN OF PULASKI,
VIRGINIA, sitting in regular session on December 3, 1991, that:
Section 1. The New River Oils property listed as Tax I.D. Lot Nos. 072-
103-0000-82,83,84,85,86A,87,88 and 89, be, and the same hereby is,
rezoned from R-2 (Residential) to B-2 (General Business).
Section 2. The Pulaski Medical Services' property listed as Tax I.D.
Lot Nos. 072-140-0000-47 and 072-103-0000-138, to a depth of 300 feet
from Route 11, be, and the same hereby is, rezoned from R-2 (Residential)
to B-2 (General Business).

~ection 3. The property located within the triangle formed by Alum Spring
Road and Route 11, listed as Tax I.D. Lot Nos. 072-140-0000-037,037A and
072-103-0000-040,041 be, and the same hereby is, rezoned from R-2
(Residential) to B-1 (Business).
Section 4. The English property listed as Tax I.D. Lot No. 063-025-0000-
029 be, and the same hereby is, rezoned from R-2 (Residential) to R-0
(Residential-Office).
Section 5. The Town Zoning Administrator is directed to mark this change
and the effective date on the Master Zoning Map for the Town of Pulaski
and the said map is hereby amended to incorporate this change.
Section 6. This ordinance is effective upon adoption and is adopted by
recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia on
this 3rd day of December, 1991, as follows:
