• ORDINANCE PERMITTING AN AUTOMOBILE SERVICE STATION
AS CONDITIONAL USE
ON DAVID W. YOUNG PROPERTY
WHEREAS, David W. Young has requested permission for an automobile service station, 508
S. Washington Avenue (Tax Map No. 081-007-B113-016) of the Town of Pulaski, Pulaski County,
Virginia; and,
WHEREAS, the subject location is zoned B-1 (Local Business) and an automobile service station
requires a conditional use permit; and,
WHEREAS, after advertisement as required by law, the planning commission held a public
hearing on June 8, 1992 and recommended approval of the conditional use; and,
WHEREAS, after advertisement as required by law, a public hearing was held by the Town
Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, on July 21, 1992, wherein the plans of the applicant and the
concerns of the neighbors were addressed;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia, sitting in regular special session on August 4, 1992, that the application of David W. Young
to establish an automobile service station at 508 South Washington Avenue (Tax Map No. 081-007-B113-
016) asset forth in the application submitted to the Town, is hereby approved as a conditional use,
without conditions other than those imposed the by the B-1 Zone and any other applicable laws and
regulations, by recorded vote as follows.
This ordinance is effective upon adoption and is adopted this 4th day of August,
1992.
