ORDINANCE APPROVING A REZONING OF 5.2685 ACRES
ON BOB WffiTE BOULEVARD FROM B-1 (LOCAL BUSINESS)
TOM 2 (GENERAL INDUSTRIAL)
W~REAS, the Renfro Corporation, Tenant of the Town of Pulaski, submitted a request to
rezone 5.2685 acres from B-1 (Local Business) to M 2 (General Industrial); and
WHEREAS, the subject property is identified as Tax Map No. 073-01-60, 60B and is located at
4100 Bob White Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, the 2.0089 acre parcel and 3.2596 acre parcel are currently zoned B-1 (Local
Business) and the proposed manufacturing use is not permitted in the B-1 zone; and
WHEREAS, Renfro Corporation is requesting the rezoning to allow for the expansion of their
existing manufacturing plant at this location; and
WHEREAS, after advertisement required bylaw, the Planning Commission and Town Council
conducted public hearings on Apri18 and April 16, respectively, wherein the comments and
concerns of the public were heard; and
• WHEREAS, following the public hearing, the Planning Commission recommended approval of the
rezoning.
BE IT ORDAINED, by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, sitting in regular
session on April 16, 1996, that the application of the Renfro Corporation submitted to rezone
5.2685 acres, located at 4100 Bob White Boulevard, from B-1 (Local Business) to M 2 (General
Industrial) as set forth in the application submitted to the Town is hereby approved.
The property is subject to any other restrictions imposed by the M-2 zoning district and any other
applicable laws and regulations.
This Ordinance is effective as of April 16, 1996 and is adopted this 16th day of April, 1996.
