HomeMy WebLinkAbout97-08• ORDINANCE 97-8 ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONDITIONAL AVENUE TO ALLOW THE CONSTRUCTION WATER BOOSTER PUMP STATION • Adopted: April 1, 1997 Effective: April 1, 1997 411 ' ` USE ON PIERCE OF A FINISHED • • ORDINANCE NO. 97-8 ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE ON PIERCE AVENUE TO ALLOW THE CONSTRUCTION OF A FINISHED WATER BOOSTER PUMP STATION WHEREAS, the Town of Pulaski requested a conditional use to construct a finished water booster pump station on Pierce Avenue; and WHEREAS, the subject property is located at 200 Pierce Avenue and identified at the "unimproved street right-of-way"; and WHEREAS, in the R-2 (Residential) district, the proposed use requires a conditional use; and WHEREAS, after advertisement as required by law, the Planning Commission and Town Council conducted public hearings on March 10, 1997 and April 1, 1997, respectively, wherein the comments and concerns of the public were heard; and WHEREAS, following its public hearing, the Planning Commission recommended approval of the conditional use. • NOW, THEREFORE, be it ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, sitting in regular session on April 1, 1997, that the application of the Town of Pulaski for a conditional use to construct a finished water booster pump station on Pierce Avenue as submitted, is hereby approved. This Ordinance is effective upon adoption is adopted by recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, on this 1st day of April, 1997 as follows: Joseph L. Weddle Aye Charles W.
