ORDINANCE 99-11 IlVIPOSING ADMINISTRATIVE FEE FOR READING METERS FOR SEWER CREDIT ADOPTED: July 20, 1999 • EFFECTIVE: August 15, 1999 • 1 ~ ORDINANCE 99-11 IMPOSING ADMINISTRATIVE FEE FOR READING METERS FOR SEWER CREDIT TOWN OF PULASKI • • WHEREAS, the Town of Pulaski sitting in regular session on August 21, 1990, did adopt an ordinance reserving the right to assess administrative charges for reading meters or for separately computing the account of any customer applying for a credit or for processing any application. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF PULASKI, VIRGINIA, sitting in regular session on July20, 1999, that there hereby be fees imposed as follows: $10.00 to re-read a meter by request of the customer for readings reported accurately as originally read. In the event it is determined that the original reading was reported inaccurately, then there will be no charge to the customer. Further, there will be a $10.00 charge to customers whereby the meter is inaccessible by reason of fault of customer to the meter readers. In addition, a charge of $15.00 will be imposed to those customers requesting special adjustments to billings ($10.00 administrative fee and $5.00 meter reading fee). Said charge to be imposed for each account to be adjusted. THIS ORDINANCE is effective as to utility bills due August 15, 1999.
