ESTABLISHING TIlV1E FOR RECEII'T OF
PAYMENT FOR DELINQUENT UTII,ITY ACCOUNTS
BE IT ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, sitting in
Regular Session on August 17, 1999, that Section 17-4, paragraph (b) of the Pulaski
Town Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
Sec. 17-4. Discontinuance of service.
(b) The Town shall discontinue service furnished by the town to its customers
upon the failure to pay for services at the established rate or noncompliance with
applicable laws, and service shall be restored only upon the customer meeting the
conditions provided in this section. No service disconnection shall be made, u
however, until five calendar days after a written notice has been mailed to the
delinquent customer, advising such customer of the delinquency and the date the
service will be disconnected. Any payment not received in the office by close of
the business due date shall be considered delinquent and will be posted with the
next day's business.

THIS ORDINANCE is effective as of August 17, 1999, and is adopted by duly
recorded vote of the Town Council on August 17, 1999, as follows:
