BROWN FARM FROM R-2 to B-2 • ADOPTED: May 2, 2000 EFFECTIVE: May 2, 2000 ~~ ORDINANCE 2000-04 ORDNANCE APPROVIIVG A REZONIlVG OF • SEVEN ACRES OF THE FORMER J.M. BROWN FARM FROM R-2 TO B-2 • WHEREAS, A.A.B., LLC, H.W. Phillips, agent, submitted a request to rezone seven acres from R-2 (Residential District) to B-2 (General Business District); and WHEREAS, the subject properties aze identified as Tax Map No. 072-001-0000-026 and 072- 001-0000-02? and aze located adjacent to the Bond Cote plant in the azea formerly lrnown as the J.M. Brown Farm; and WHEREAS, the parcels aze currently zoned R-2 and the operation of mini-wazehouses is not permitted; and WHEREAS, after advertisement required by law, the Planning Commission and Town Cauncil conducted public hearings on Mazch 13, 2000 and Apzi14, 2000 respectively, wherein the comments and concerns of the public were heard; and WHEREAS, following the public hearing, the Planning Commission recommended approval of the rezoning. BE IT ORDAINED, by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, sitting in regulaz session May 2, 2000, that the lots identified as 072-001-0000-026 and 072-001-0000-027, consisting of seven acres is hereby rezoned to B-2 (General Business District). The property is subject to any other restrictions imposed by the B-2 zoning district and any other applicable laws and regulations. This Ordinance is effective upon adoption and is adopted by recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, on this 2nd day of May 2000 as follows: James M. Neblett Aye Lane R.
