Minutes of a c,allPd meeting of the Pulaski Town
Council, held on Friday, A?ovember 2~", 1960, at 7_:OC` P. M. The
meeting being called for the purpose of discussing a rroblem
which had arisen sn connection with the storm sewer system on
the Route 99 Proiect in the vicinity of Tlnion Avenue, and
was held on the si te. 4fter stud~ri ng this situation, as we7.1
as the new Edgehil.l Drive, Council met in its Chambers for a.
further discussion.

There wa.s a .review of the matters which had been dis-
cussed in the vicinity of Uni on Avenue and Third Street, N. ?~1. There
was a. discussion of the position of the Highti~ray Department, to the
effect that the Highway Department be immediately authorized to

Department had stated that the alternate plan as suggested by the
Town, which suggestion was to place ~ 36" drain between the lag" drain, `
above referred to, and the ;.nt~rsecti_on of Union 4venue and Third

engineering standpoint and that i_n~tead of the ?F" n;_re .referred t~

ti on of a 1~2" pike beyond the southT,rest corner of the Moore lot
would add approximately ~3,70~.00 to the project cost, with the
t own being informed by the HighTtiay Department that such additional
cost would have to be borne directly by the town even if the costs
were to be borne individually by other parties. Mr. Moore stated
to Council that it was his feeling that the drain should be placed
according to the alternate plan so as to eliminate the flow of storm
waters across his lot. Mr. Moore also suggested that there are
legal technicalities involved.
It was moved, seconded and carried unanimously that
Council po i.nto executi~re session, with. the Dress and Tot~m attorney
