The meeting was called to order by i=ayor Jackson and the
invocation was given by the Rev. Jonas noyd of .~raper's 'Ja11ey
Presbyterz.an Church.
Minutes of the regular meeting of June 3r°d, 1958 were
ap~,roved.
There was a iengtrry discussion of the possiuie amendment
to Article 13 of the Zoning Grdinance, which article has to do
with non-conforming uses. Generally, the suggested amendment
would provide a process whereby Council and the Planning
Commission could under certain conditions pe .. it tiie extension
of a non-core arming use after a ~r>uil.ding is damaged more than
50;" by a fire as well as possible extension of anon-conforming

DISCUSSED, NO Attorney answered several legal questions as to interpretation

Following the discussion, motion was made by ~~1. A. Larson,
seconded by i. tt. C~~rper, and carried on the unanimous vote of

matter and that the item be placed on the agenda for discussion
''~ at the next regular meeting.
There was a short discussion of the procedure whic}i would
be followed on June Loth, on which day bids on construction of the

~Iith respect to the bond sale, copies of the Notice of
Sale were distributed to Council with the explanation that the
notice of sale would be published in the daily ~sond Duyer within
a few days. It was suggested that the Town t;ttorney and Tow11

TO MEET SAME TIME Since July 1 happens to be the hate of the next regular council
aeeting, motion was made by c~~r. Wysor that the .meeting time be
changed to 12 moon instead of 4 p. m., which motion was seconded
by I. h. Carper, and unanimously carried by those present.
