The minutes of the regular semi-month7.y meeting of the
Towrn Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, held on the 20th dart
of November, 1856, at ~:00 P. T~1.
There Caere present; Mayor C. V. Jackson, presiding.

1~4ayor Jackson welcomed Nir. I~lcntutt of idiley ~. ~dilson
Engineering film. Mr. ~:cNutt ans:•rered several questions of the
Council With re~a_rd to the proposed water and sewer bona issue,
He stated that his office would prep.^.re an analysis of water and
sewer rates which iro~7.d. be presented to the Council at a special
meeting on N`_onday, November 26, at 4:00 p.m.
Mr. George Hillsman, Secretary of the Chamber of
Commerce advised Council of a mec;tinJ in Roanoke on dednesday,
November 2$, on industrial development and asked thst any members
of Council attenc., who possibly coul.u.
The Town t~ianager repDrted that the matter of the
street light on Third Street between Jefferson and Randolph
Avenue had been s tudied and his recommendation :aas to leave the
present light as is. i1o actit:;n L~ras ta'~en by thy; Cour_cil.
It was the recom~nen;::ation of the Town Tianager that no
work be done on a crater line for South Jefferson Avenue, extended,
unless the propertf owners were twilling to share t^_o cost. lie
further recommended that gravel l~x: p?.aced on South Jefferson,
extended, provided th.: stre;et had boonaccepteu. by the Town
Council.
