Pulaski, Va.,•April 2g, 1954 SPECIAL A special meeting of the Town Council of the Town of MEETING Pulaski, Virginia Wan held in the Municipal Building on April 29, 1954 at 4 p.m. PRESENT There Were presents Mayor C. V. Jackson, presiding Cowldlmens Lx.Carper, 4.O.Crowell, J.C.Crumbley, W.A.Larson, J. &. Martin. Absent: J.L. gesling,F.W.Marshall, W.F.White. Also paresent: Town Mansger: Julian F. REPTIMICH~H ~@ purpose of the meeting was stated to be to provide a TO~ACODEN ~oiat meeting of the Council with Mr. Sergeant of the Miahie City Publioations Company in order that certain informed. decisions might be reached pertinent to preparation of the Town Code. Nr. Sergeant stated that the present work on the Code represented the first time the ordinances of the town had been studied as to revision since 1912, and that the present material had been reviewed by both the Town Manager and Town Attorney. He stated, further, that it was his desire at this seating to clarify several points as to Council~a desire for inclusion or seclusion in the new Code, as the present meeting would constitute the only time available before the mannsaript, being prepared, would be set in type, after which time, a galley proof would be forwarded to Council for adoption. As to License Tax Cl~dinance, due to its length and being aub~ect toy constant change, recomme~rd that it not be included e~ocept by reference under the chapter on licensee, referring any person desiring a lice~ae to the code, that he shall comply with same, identityring the code a~d stating the location of sane.
