LETTER RE. DRAI~tAGE A letter from -the District S~anitati®n ~~ _ y ('YPfieer of the State Hes4l.th. Department at Abingdom, .. ~ ~ - Virginia was read, cone®rning the matter betwe®n. W. L. Kinsey and A. C. Palmer •on ~raste water ceondition, in which it was- pointed out that ther® was no violatia-n appar®nt at tl~e time of inspection. REGIILATI OAP " NEfN CAR There was discussed proposed ordinance for CARRIERS ~ ~ regulation of new car carriers parking on the street, and obstructing traffics, aacess to private property, etc.. Representative of the-ear carriers appeared and advised the Council that such an ordinance would make it diffi- cult for ~ them to operate in Pulaski, since ®ff the street parking spate was not availab~:e. It was ' ~ determined that three rapt®sentatives of the new oar carriers should b® appointed and meet with the Town Manager in am effort to work out a satisfactory salutien to this problem. • ~i 1 1 ~~~ E.A. L~-erhart appeared before the C regnestiag a parking zone in front of his business on East '$''•treet, stating that there was no available adequate back A petition frees residents on forth Fourth Strut, between Washington and Jefferson Avenues for sidewalk and gutter was presented. The Town Manager was instructed to the resident8 signing the petition that it would be recess obtain signatnt-es of all property owners on the north side o street, which would include the First Presbyterian Church, a view oP the fact that section of sidewalk previously built b church might have to be altered, it would be necessary that cost of this be on g f if ty-fifty basis , and further, that th request would be considered if the property owners were afire ~I to participating on the basis of one-half of the actual c©st~ rather than on a fined amount. ~; On motion d~a1.y made by J. The matter of warraffit against Lt. Earl Bouldin an complaint of W, L.
