Council Minutes Pulaski,
SPECIAL A special meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
MEETING
Pulaski, Virginia was held in the Municipal Building at 4 p~.m.,
November 28, 1952.
PRESENT There were present:
Mayor H. R. Imboden, presiding
Councilmen: I. R.Carper, O.O.Crowell, J.C.Crumb ley,~r.,
C.V.Jackson, J.L.Kssling,F.W.Marshall,
J. R. Martin.
Absent: W, F. White
Also present:
Town Manager: Julian F. Hirst
Clerk: Louise D. Logan
Supt.of Pub .Wks : H. C. Jackson
WATER It was stated that the purpose of the meeting was to

further consider pen ding petitions for water extensions.
-Estimates The Town Manager distributed to the Council estimates~;of
cost for serving the following areas with water: Mt.Olivet~! Road,
Creetline Drive, Case Knife Road, Valley Road, 5th Street,9~.E.
Area, Chestnut Avenue, Garner Avenue & Highland Terrace. ~~ovided
with these estimates of cost were rough sketches showing pai~sibl®
water line extensions and the number of houses which would ~e
screed thereby.
Considerable discussion was given by the Council to e~~ch
petition for water, considering all factors involved in ea
ease, and inasmuch as the total cost for providing water
X20,000.00 extensions to all areas requesting same were presently proY~~bitiva,
LIMIT TO BE
EXPENDED. it was the consensus of Council that the total sum expen decd,`
should not exceed Twenty Thousand ($20,000.00) Dollars.

ANNEXATION meeting within the near future for the purpose. of review and
further study of the annexation report as submitted to the
Town by- R. Stuart Royer & Associates, Consulting Engin®ers,
Richmond, Virginia, which would be of especial benefit to
new m®mbers on the ~Couneil, whereapon it was decided that
such a meeting would be called.for 4 p:m., Thursday,
December 4, 1952.
ANNUAL It was the consensus of Council that the annual
CHRISTMAS
PARTY Christmas party to be held~December 18, 1952 be limited to
. town officials and employees, and the local Health Department.
ADJOURNMENT The meeting adjourned at 5:45 p.m.
