Pulaski, Va., June 2(3, 1950 The regular semi monthly meeting of the Town PRESENT Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia was held in the Municipal Building at 4:00 p.m., June 20, 1950. There were present: Mayor Marvin G. Graham, presiding Councilmen: W. D. Aust, I: R. Carper, O.O.Crowell, ~f. F. White,T. F. Wirt. Absent: OtNeal Amos, H.R.Imboden, G.R.Steger. Also present: Town Manager: E. A. Beak Clerk: Verna L, Dalton Town Attorney: Garnett S. Moore Treasurer:Lottie R. Runion - VisiTORS MINUTES APPLICATION M.M.HUFFMAN CLAUDE S. CRA9PFC)RD EIGHTH ST. PAVING AMID S~~ER Visitors: Claude S. Crawford . The minute s. of the regular meeting held June 6, 1950 were read and approved. The application of M. M. Huffman for installation of gasoline tank and pumF on the property mf W. D. Rankin at 14 Peirce Avenue was presented. No cation was taken. Mr. Claude S. Crawford appeared before th® Council and requested that sewer b® installed and the attest surfaced on Eighth Street, east of Franklin Avenue. On motion duly made by. T. F. Wirt, seconded by 1~. F. White, it was unanimously RESOLVED, that the matter of surfacing of Eighth CER'P. PUBLIC CONV.& NEC. Street be referred to the 3'treet Committee and the Town Manager, and the matter of sewer~at Eighth Street be referred to the Water & Sewer Committee and the Town Manager for investigation and report at a future meeting. Crowell, it was unanimously RESOLVED, that the Town Manager investigate the ,;; possibilities of extending 11th Street to 3oin 10th Street, N.~IF,, and the offer of John Linkous and C. S. ffennedy to pride additional Right-of-way in order t© relieve the dead end co~d.itionl ~; on 11th Street. On motion duly made by ~. F. White, seconded by ~. D: Aust, it was unanimously LOADING ZO1~ES RF~OLVED, that the action of May ~, permitting thdi -ACTIOIR RESCIPIDED Town Manager and the Chiet of Police t© establish 1©ading z~ies be rescinded, and that all loading zones be eliminated, asd parking spaces be restored as previously, except that the 14~iding zone on Valley Street south of Commerce Street shall remain,~j On motion duly wade by T.
