Pulaski, Va., September ~, 1940 BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Tovrn of Pulaski, Virginia, that a tax of ~;I.60 be levied on each X100.00 assessed value on all property, real and tangible personal, for the year 1940, for the gener~.l purposes of the Tovrn, including the pay of its officers, the working and keeping in.repair of its streets roads dnd bridges, and to pay the interest on its public debt, and to provide a sinking fund for the redemption of the same, and in addition thereto a poll tax of X1.00 is hereby levied on each made citizen of the To~rm over 21 years of age to be used in keeping ` its streets, roads and bridges in repair.
