PRESENT There were present: Mayor E. W. Calfee, presiding, Lottie k. Bunion, Clerk; ti. tiV.Gatewood,Director of Public Vr'orks, and Councilmen: A. T. Eskridge, T. J. VVallner, L. E. tiVhitesell, F. A. Seagle, T. L. James, G. C. Mall and J. E. Bunts. Absent: ti. 1t. Bushong. MINUTES The minutes of the regular meeting held on September 5th were read and approved. BILLS & A detailed statement of the regular bills and payrolls PAYROLLS for the month of September was audited, approved and on motion duly made, seconded and unanimously passed, ordered paid. Said bills are given at the conclusion of these minutes. BUILDING The following building permits, coming within the PER6~ITS requirements of the ordinance were granted: To D. Robley Wood for a two-story brick and frame dwelling on the east side of Prospect Avenue between 11th and lath streets, j~orth, to cost X7500.00; Pulaski Mirror Co., Inc., for brick, concrete and cinder block filling station on the south side of 5th Street North, at the corner of i~adison avenue, to cost X6500.00; D, 0. Ratcliff for a two-story brick and stone dwelling on the north side of 6th Street North at Randolph hvenue, to cost X3500.00; dirs. Virginia C. Morehead for a one-story asbestos shingle dwelling on the east side of 3rd Street, S. E., between Washington and Lexington Avenues, to cost ~v3000.00; A. A.
