Pulaski, Va., gay 23rd, 1941
SPECIAL The Council of the Town of Pulaski met in special
SESSION
session at 10:00 A. Y., at the Mayor;s Office.
PRESENT `there were present: Mayor E. 4Y. Calfee, presiding,
Lottie R. Bunion, Clerk, and Councilmen: T. J. Wallner,
L. E, Whitesell, J. E. Bunts, F. A. Beagle, T. L. James and
G. C. Hall. Absent: Councilmen A. T. Eskridge and A. fit. Bushong.
BIDS The ~dayor announced that the meeting was called
3rd St.N.E.
PAVING for the purpose of receiving bids for the paving of 3rd Street
N. E., pursuant to public advertising calling for such bids.
The B~ayor then called for bids, and only one bid,
TRINKLE
& viz, Trinkle ~c~Dobyns of Dublin, Va., submitted a bid for
DOBYNS there being no other bids, on motion duly made
$7,460.00.
seconded and unanimously passed, the contract was awarded to
Trinkle ~ Dobyns.
REPORT On motion duly made, seconded and unanimously
HAGER
passed, the mayor was authorized to employ Wiley & Wilson,
PROPERTY
Engineers, of Lynchburg, Virginia, to make a preliminary
WATER
SHED report on a water shed known as "The Hager ~'roperty t~ in
1~ythe County, to determine whether or not this water shed
might be used for an additional water supply for the Town of
Pulaski.
ADJOURN There being no further business, the Council
adjourned at 10:30 A. B~.
