June 3, 1941
The Council of the Tom of Pulaski met in monthly
session tonight at 7:~0 P. M. at the ~ayor~s Office.
PRESENT 1'h ere were present: Mayor E. k~. Calfee, presiding;
Lottie R. Runion, Clerk; A. W. Gate~~ood, Director of Public
V'~orks, and Councilmen: A. T. Eskridge, T. J. Vtiallner, F. A.

MINUTES The minutes of the regular meeting held on ;day lath, ',

are given at the conclusion of these minutes..
BUILDING One building permit, coming within the requirements

granted, to D. C. Laughon for a 2-story
frame dwelling on the north side of 10th St., N. W., west of
Randolph avenue, to cost X3,500.00.
PETITION A delegation of citizens residing on 4th Street, N.,
CITIZENS
4th St. appeared before the Council, requesting relief fron disturbant#es

to meet with the executive board of the ~~oman's Club, and
report.
PETITION A petition presented by citizens residing to the lower ',

A resolution was presented by the Pulaski Library,

line on Stuart Ave.,BQr. A. W.Gatewood, as directed by the
Council, submitted an estimate for 780 foot extension, with
connections, to cost ~27~.00; said line to serve approximately
12 families. On motion duly made, seconded and unanimously
passed, the Council ordered .the installation of tY~is water
line.
SIDE- In the matter of the sidewalk on 5th 5t. N. V~.,

along the properties of Bdrs. Constance Meredith and BQrs.

J. R. Glenn and Bliss BQary White, on motion duly Wade, seconded
and unanimously passed, the street committee in conjunction
with the mayor and Director of ~'ublic Works, were authorized
with power to act, to view the project and determine the most
feasible manner of laying said sidewalk.
