A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE
PULASKI COUNTY TOURISM STRATEGIC PLAN
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski is interested in developing the
tourism potential of the Town to improve the Town's economy and the quality of life for
its citizens; and,
WHEREAS, the Town Council recognizes the importance of a formal, regional tourism
strategy in the development of regional tourism initiatives which, coupled with the
Town's tourism potential, could attain the maximum benefit for citizens of all
participating localities; and,
WHEREAS, the Pulaski County Tourism Strategic Plan seeks a formal, coordinated
tourism strategy between the Town of Pulaski, the Town of Dublin and Pulaski County
to jointly develop the tourism resources of the three jurisdictions to provide economic,
recreational, and cultural benefits for their citizens;
NOW THEREFORE be it RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia sitting in regular session this 2"d day of September 2008, that the Town of
Pulaski does hereby adopt the Pulaski County Tourism Strategic Plan, a copy of which
is affixed hereto and expressly made part of this resolution.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 2"d day of
September 2008 by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia as follows:

Larry G. Clevinger, II -Aye Robert A. Bopp -Aye
H.M. Kidd -Aye Morgan P. Welker -Aye
