Minutes of the Special Meeting of the Pulaski Town Council held April
22, 1985, at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building.
There were present: Mayor Raymond F. Ratcliffe, presiding
Councilmembers: John A. Johnston, James M. Neblett, C. E. Boyd, Jr.
James R. Neighbors, Ira S. Crawford, Mary Lou
Copenhaver
Members absent: Robert N. Glenn, Glen K. Aust
Also present: Frank Terwilliger, Town Attorney
D. E. McKeever, Town Manager
Anne Burgess, Assistant to the Town Manager
Ruth A. Harrell, Clerk
Visitors: Dee Ann Lindsey of the news media
The invocation was given by Councilman Neblett.
~~ WAIVER OF NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
We, the undersigned, duly elected members of the Council of the Town of e

Pulaski, Virginia, hereby waive notice of a Special Meeting of said Council
at 5:00 p.m. on the 22nd day of April, 1985, for the purpose of setting
a date for a public hearing on the Comprehensive Plan, and any other
business that may legally come before the Council.
WITNESS our signatures this 22nd day of April, 1985.

Mayor Ratcliffe advised the purpose of the Special called meeting was to
set a date for a public hearing on the Comprehensive Plan, and any other business
that may legally come before the Council.
Councilman Boyd so moved to set public hearing for May 21, 1985, at 7:00
p.m. on the Comprehensive Plan, to be held jointly with Town Planning Commission,
seconded by Councilman Neblett and carried.
At 5:03 p.m. Councilman Neblett made a motion to adjourn, seconded by
Councilman Crawford and carried.
