WAIVER OF NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
Minutes of a special meetingof the Pulaski Town Council, held
August 2, 1982 at 5:00 P.M, in the Council Chambers in the Municipal
Building.
We, the undersigned, duly elected members of the Council of the
Town of Pulaski, Virginia, hereby waive notice of a Special Meeting of
said Council at 5:00 P..M.
on the 2nd day of
August 19 82, for the purpose of going into executive
session to discuss a persorinel~matter in accordance with Section

2.1-344 of the Code of Virginia
and any other business that may legally come before the Council.

Mayor Ratcliffe advised the special meeting had been called
for the purpose of going into executive session to discuss a personnel
matter in accordance with Section 2.1-344 of the Code of Virginia, and
any other business that may legally come before the Council.
At 5:05 P.M. Councilman Johnston moved that Council go into
executive session to discuss a personnel matter in accordance with
Section 2.1-344 of the Code of Virginia. Motion was seconded by
Councilman Boyd, and carried.
At 5:26 P.M. Council returned to regular session.
Councilman Johnston moved that after due consideration and study

of the Blue Cross-Blue Shield rates, the rate coverage for an individual
subscriber would be increases from $56.60 to $78.53; subscriber and one
(1) child would be increased from $86.63 to $123.77, and family membership
be increased from $140.26 to $190.00; and that these funds be distributed
to Blue Cross Blue Shield and Major Medical as recommended by the Town
Staff. and reviewed by the Town Council. Motion was seconded by Council-
man Graham, and carried on the following vote:

Ira S. Crawford -Aye

Councilman Johnston moved that within thirty (30) days the
Administrative Staff prepare a report on a Comprehensive Plan for the
Town's medical insurance for submission and study by Town Council.
Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Mitchell, and carried on the follow-
ing vote:
