Minutes of the regular meeting of the Pulaski Town Council, held
August 18, 1981 at 7:00 P. M. in the Council Chambers in the Municipal
Building.

REG. PLANT
the Pepper's Ferry Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant, appeared before
Council and reported on the present status of the plant, including
estimated capital costs (Step III) for each locality; facilities re-
quired and proposed funding by the Town of Pulaski, together with a
proposed project construction schedule.
Finance Chairman Graham advised that members of Council had received

a copy of Town Treasurer Roger Williams' report on Delinquent Taxes and
Erroneous Assessments for the year 1980, as well as for years 1979 thru
1972. Mr. Graham reported that the Finance Committee had considered the
report, and it is necessary that Council act upon the Resolutions contained
in Mr. Williams' report.
Thereupon,, Roger A. Williams, the Treasurer of the Town of Pulaski

BE IT RESOLVED that the above set out the Town Treasurer's report aye;
for delinquent taxes for the year 1980, as certified to the Council, (J.M.Neblett-
be accepted: that the Treasurer be credited with the amount shown to be aye)
delinquent and that said list of delinquent real estate tax be filed
with the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Pulaski County, Virginia, to be
recorded and indexed by him; that a list containing all unpaid real
estate taxes as of June 30, 1981, to b e published in a local newspaper
on August 23, 1981, and the Treasurer is further directed to continue to
collect the unpaid taxes on said list,

BE IT RESOLVED that the certified list of the Town Treasurer
for the year 1978 showing remaining delinquent taxes be accepted, and
it is ordered that the revised list of real estate be transmitted
to the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Pulaski, Virginia, to be filed,
and the Treasurer is further directed to continue to collect the unpaid
taxes shown on said list.

Mr. Boyd inquired of Town Attorney Moore the status of the
CEMETERY Cemetery project, and was advised by Mr. Moore that he is working on it

stated maps for all cemeteries have been secured.
In answer to Mr. Boyd's inquiry relative to the ownership of the
Armory, Town Manager Coake advised a letter from the Commonwealth of

is getting calls regarding the congestion on Ward Lane. She advised

extending the lease for two years on the Town's building on the north
